HOG LAN#1 Zagreb 2022 - Interview: uNzr (Unknown gaming)

1. Hello uNzr , first of all I’d like to thank you for taking part in this interview. Could you introduce yourself to the people who don't know you?

Hello from the other side, for everyone who doesn’t know me, my name is Luka im from Croatia, and I play for team Unknown gaming.

2. Currently you are playing for team Unknown gaming, could you tell us your story? How long has your team been playing together in this formation and how did you find each others?

We have been playing together for like 5 or 6 years, I think, before that we were rivals and when we have seen that all of us wanted to improve our game so we decided to make a team together and that was just a great idea. Our chemistry is very good inside and outside of the game. The last man who joined our team was Miki, he played for a team sniip before. Bringing him to our team was a great thing for because he fits perfectly in our gamestyle.

3. What are your strengths or weaknesses in the team?

I think our biggest strength is our super aggressiveness but at the same time it is our biggest weakness due to our which makes us peak a bit too much, which ends in losing rounds. Team chemistry is not on a point sometimes aswell.

4. More than two years past since the last international LAN has been organized in 2020. Have you used to go to LAN events before? How much LAN experience do you have from OFFLINE events?

Yea, we attended 3 LANs as a current team (without miki) and we were placed 2nd, 4th and 5th. But I think that now is the time to win this upcoming LAN considered how much better we perform nowadays. As individuals we all have big LAN experiences because we have attended there with our ex-teams, and miki have won some of them with sniip.

5. We have seen some promising pictures from the LAN venue. How do you appreciate this new esport arena? Are you waiting for you to be there?

We are all very excited to be there, venue looks amazing and I really think that this LAN is going to be great and with 50-PCs everything should go smooth without big delays.

6. What are your expectations about your team’s performance? What kind of final result would you be satisfied?

Not reaching top3 is going to be a big disappointment for us. We all have agreed that we need to win this upcoming LAN. All five players must perform really well because that is the only way you can win. Teamplay and chemistry must be on point aswell.

7. More than 16 teams will participate in this LAN, what do you think about the teams?

There are some really good teams out there, some of them we know from before and some of them new but I think that every team can surprise on LAN.

8. Which teams you consider as the biggest threat (rival) for you?

Biggest threat for us is team APES because we haven’t won against them on LAN, yet :). Team qwertz perform really well online and we want to see how they will perform offline. On the other hand, there is DENIED and PEPFQ with really good and experienced players.

9. What's your predictions for TOP3 of this LAN event?

Of course, we predict ourselves as the one of a protentional winners, but without us prediction would look like this: 1.APES 2. DENIED 3.QWERTZ.

10. What do you think, which team will surprise the opponents? Who is your secret favorite, who is underestimated by the other teams, but you know they will perform really well?

Team equal and NFY can surprise everyone, we played vs them in Winter League and they looked really good. There is no team which you can underestimate, this game is just old enough so everyone knows how to play it.
