HOG LAN#1 Zagreb 2022 - Interview: doki (Team Equal)

1. Hello doki , first of all I’d like to thank you for taking part in this interview. Could you introduce yourself to the people who don't know you?

Hello everyone, I'm Mirsad 'doki' Selimović and I come from Bosnia.

2. Currently you are playing for Team Equal, could you tell us your story? How long has your team been playing together in this formation and how did you find each others?

We have known each other for a long time, but we didnt play together that much and then the time came for our paths to cross.

3. What are your strengths or weaknesses in the team?

Our strength is friendship and positivity, and our weakness is being OLD. :D

4. More than two years past since the last international LAN has been organized in 2020. Have you used to go to LAN events before? How much LAN experience do you have from OFFLINE events?

We attended many tournaments as individuals, but never together. We all have a pretty good LAN experience, but if we are going to point out I think our scope zABZRWx- has the most amounts of LAN experience.

5. We have seen some promising pictures from the LAN venue. How do you appreciate this new esport arena? Are you waiting for you to be there?

I think the gaming arena is really top notch! Computers, screens, chairs, space, everything is at a very high level! Congratulations to the owner of the esport Arena for thinking of us gamers!

6. What are your expectations about your team’s performance? What kind of final result would you be satisfied?

Of course if we tell the truth we all expect a high position in the tournament. You have already used the word in the second question, Final.

7. More than 16 teams will participate in this LAN, what do you think about the teams?

Some teams are there to support the tournament and have a little fun, but most are there to achieve something in the tournament and show themselves in the best light. For me, the LAN is a totally different game than ONLINE, because everyone in the LAN tries to make as few mistakes as possible. I think it will be very tense and fun!

8. Which teams you consider as the biggest threat (rival) for you?

We don't really have a rival, because we are a young team. TOP teams are definitely a threat, when we exclude the element of surprise that is very common in tournaments.

9. What's your predictions for TOP3 of this LAN event?

My prediction Unknown gaming, APES, DENIED due to ONLINE results but also OFFLINE.

10. What do you think, which team will surprise the opponents? Who is your secret favorite, who is underestimated by the other teams, but you know they will perform really well?

I think team trashcans will surprise all the teams, and it will be an awkward landmine for everyone.
