FPSChallenge Budapest LAN 2022 - Interview: qLimAxzU (exabyte)

1. Hello qLimAxzU, first of all I’d like to thank you for taking part in this interview. Could you introduce yourself to the people who don't know you?

Hello my name is Fredrik "qLimAxzU" Idh. I'm just an old man who likes to play games that are 20 years old. Played kinda' serious back in the days.

2. Currently you are playing for team exabyte, could you tell us your story? How long has your team been playing together in this formation and how did you find each others?

Our story is pretty simple, we are old friends that decided to group up and make a "maybe" final cod4 LAN & potentially say good bye to the game we love.

3. What are the strengths and weaknesses of your team?

Strenght is probably our LAN experience. Our weakness is probably that we are very old & grumpy so it evens out. We gonna be hit or miss & nothing in between i'd say.

4. Unfortunately you had to miss out the last Zagreb LAN in April, but now everyone pays special attention to you and your team. Are you excited about the Budapest LAN? Everybody knows you have so many LAN experience from various offline events in Europe. Could you tell us an insider story from these events? What was the most iconic memory what you will never forget?

Yes I would have loved to go there with my former teammates but unfortunately I couldn't get off work at that time. And yes I'm VERY hyped to go to Budapest and meet all the gods that still plays this game.

5. We have seen some promising pictures from the Budapest LAN venue. How do you appreciate this esport bar? Are you waiting for you to be there?

The venue looks good, but very hot 😅 Let's just hope the got good air conditioning or we might die to heartattack....

6. What are your expectations about your team’s performance on Budapest LAN? What kind of final result would you be satisfied?

Like I said in previous question I think we either be a hit or miss. Listen we are all winners in this team, We might not have great results online BUT I think when we get in that LAN bubble its going to be different. Anything but win would be a disappointment and I don't care that we played only 10 nights in the last 2 months with full lineup. We have a sick lineup and I wouldn't trade anyone. I got faith that we will do great!

7. More than 16 teams will participate in this LAN, what do you think about the teams?

I think it's amazing that we can get so many teams to COD4 LANs nowdays, Also there is a lot of good teams its going to be very interesting. :)

8. How would you rate the Groups in general? What do you think especially about your own Group? (Group A)

The groups are balanced in my opinion, we got some strong teams in our group but if u want to win the whole event you gotta beat everyone.

9. Which teams you consider as the biggest threat (rival) for your team? You are an iconic scope player, what do you think about the other scope players who will play on the LAN? Who is your biggest rival?

I see it like this, there are plenty of good teams but to be the best beat the rest. :) We don't have 1 rival we got 16 at this event. There are so many good scopes as well, I just hope they will rekt me like they do online, if not then unlucky. 😎

10. What's your predictions for TOP3 of this LAN event?

I won't include us in this prediction so TOP3 based on online performance 1. DENIED; 2. qwertz; 3. Unknown Gaming.

11. What do you think, which team will surprise the opponents? Who is your secret favorite, who is underestimated by the other teams, but you know they will perform really well?

I hope we can suprise everyone. 😂 People don't really rate us if you look at #predictions channel by players. I just hope we can show people we still got it even tho we are old. Also I think I have to go with wildSTARS, They gonna surprise a lot of team I hope, They are also my secret favorite team. 🤫
