FPSChallenge Budapest LAN 2022 - Interview: Ljustvo (qwertz)

1. Hello Ljustvo, first of all I’d like to thank you for taking part in this interview. Could you introduce yourself to the people who don't know you?

Hello, I’m Josip, known as Joco, and I’ve been playing COD4 for around 10 years now with some breaks.

2. Currently you are playing for team qwertz, could you tell us your story? How long has your team been playing together in this formation and how did you find each others?

We have played together for few years, attended couple of LAN events and we are looking forward to this one in Budapest. The latest add to our team was ISNO who helped us level-up our game with some experience.

3. What are the strengths and weaknesses of your team?

The biggest strenght is that we have played together for long time. The biggest weakness would be our communication in some crucial situations and mp_crossfire.

4. You played on the last international COD4 LAN in Zagreb last time in April this year and your performance was really outstanding. You could surprised everyone and took home a prominent silver medal from the competition. How did you felt on the last Zagreb LAN in April? How would you rate your performance?

Yeah, we played really good in Zagreb. We played aggressive and didn’t change our gamestyle much and it worked most of the time. We were a bit unlucky in the final, but Apes played yet another great LAN.

5. We have seen some promising pictures from the Budapest LAN venue. How do you appreciate this esport bar? Are you waiting for you to be there?

The venue is great, there is a bar and lots of beer. I’ve seen some pictures and it looked really nice so we are all looking forward to be there.

6. What are your expectations about your team’s performance? What kind of final result would you be satisfied?

We expect to be in TOP3, but our goal is to win the LAN. If we all play our best game we can place really high.

7. More than 16 teams will participate in this LAN, what do you think about the teams?

There are many great teams attending to the event, and we can't wait to face them offline. Big number of teams can go all the way and that will make the event really fun.

8. How would you rate the Groups in general? What do you think especially about your own Group? (Group B)

The groups look very good, we find playkings the biggest threat in our Group. I think the Group A is the hardest and it’s hard to predict who will take the top spot.

9. Which teams you consider as the biggest threat (rival) for you?

Unknown Gaming, Apes and DENIED because we played many tough matches against them both offline and online.

10. What's your predictions for TOP3 of this LAN event?

1. qwertz; 2. Unknown Gaming; 3. Apes

11. What do you think, which team will surprise the opponents? Who is your secret favorite, who is underestimated by the other teams, but you know they will perform really well?

I think NFY can place very high. Teams like +ULTRA, TBA (exabyte) and playkings are also really good and can beat anyone so I think it’s gonna be really exciting LAN with some great matches.
