FPSChallenge Budapest LAN 2022 - Interview: fuckR (playkings)

1. Hello fuckR, first of all I’d like to thank you for taking part in this interview. Could you introduce yourself to the people who don't know you?

Hello, I'm Adrien, known as fuckR, I've start to play COD4 when it was released, I won multiple LANs back in the days in France but my best accomplishment was the win at the first Brussel LAN with playfive.

2. Currently you are playing for team playkings, could you tell us your story? How long has your team been playing together in this formation and how did you find each others?

Playkings is basically a mix between playfive and 5kings I've been playing against samuelG for 10years maybe and we find out it would be interesting to finally play together, I know unK since playfive, he was with me at the Brussel#1, I've played with rEvalz on so many FPS and it's the same with CLMKK. we started to play together since a month and a half after the announcement of the LAN.

3. What are the strengths and weaknesses of your team?

One of our biggest strength and also weakness is that we are more than teammates, we are all friends with each other. Sometimes it is supergreat but when you have some problem or things to fix it can go very deep but at the end that's what friends are right ups and downs.

4. Unfortunately the community could not see you on the last Zagreb LAN in April, but now everyone pays special attention to you and your team. Are you excited about the LAN? Have you used to go to LAN events before? How much LAN experience do you have from offline events?

We are very hyped about the LAN for sure, we all love esports and it has been too time much since our last event. And to answer your question I think we have done more than 30 or 40 LANs in totals so yeah I guess we can call it some experiences.

5. We have seen some promising pictures from the Budapest LAN venue. How do you appreciate this esport bar? Are you waiting for you to be there?

Actually samuelG and me played Battallion 1944 for 2 years maybe and we attended a LAN in this venue he was playing for DEMISE I was playing for DefuseKids. The venue is very nice, staff was cool and the beer was cheap. :p

6. What are your expectations about your team’s performance? What kind of final result would you be satisfied?

The aim of this line up is to win the LAN that's why we grinded for a month and a half, but I think the level of the teams attending the LAN is very high but that is not an excuses we are going for the win and I really think we will.

7. More than 16 teams will participate in this LAN, what do you think about the teams?

As I said previously there are a lot of good teams and for my point of view there will be a lot of upsets.

8. How would you rate the Groups in general? What do you think especially about your own Group? (Group B)

I think our group is very well balanced, looking forward to play some of the team of our group in LAN environment. :D

9. Which teams you consider as the biggest threat (rival) for you?

All teams are a threat to be fair but there are some teams that I want to beat for sure +ULTRA and DENIED for example are on my personal list. But yeah in the point of view of playkings we just want to beat everyone.

10. What's your predictions for TOP3 of this LAN event?

1. playkings; 2. +ULTRA; 3. qwertz

11. What do you think, which team will surprise the opponents? Who is your secret favorite, who is underestimated by the other teams, but you know they will perform really well?

Because we played them a lot I really think invalid will have some good results same for Volatile Gaming and wildStars thosee 3 teams impressed me by their level, but yeah if I have to put my money it would be on invalid.

Thank you for the interview it was a pleasure, I just can't wait to be at the venue with the boys and meet some good old faces and new ones of course.
